The European gothic theme of the “CTS Sundial” is unlike any other clock you’ve ever seen. Released in 2003, it presents a very distinctive aesthetic, featuring Baroque-style cherubs and doves on a Romanesque architectural backdrop atop a remarkable sunburst dial. This large timepiece is nearly entirely wood except for the inner dial and details, which are a molded clay. As the hour approaches or the demonstration button is pressed, an LED light flashes along to one of 6 popular melodies, including hits such as “Moon River” and “A Lover’s Concerto,” played in Rhythm’s crystal-clear Clarion Tone System (CTS) sound. The pendulum swings continuously.
