Chevy Ash, Founder of Timeless Moments Clocks
Clocks have been a lifelong passion for collector and enthusiast Chevy Ash. He became infatuated with them at a very young age, but the obsession started to fully take over at two years old when his grandmother discovered musical clocks. They would browse the Internet and watch videos of them together for hours on end. The stunning music and motion of these timepieces have caught the attention of many over the years, but they absolutely captivated Chevy and would change his life forever.
His family was skeptical at first, but the interest only grew stronger as Chevy grew older. He loved visiting clock shops and dreamed of opening one of his own someday. He even made mockup store displays with his own collection and drew clocks and advertisements on napkins. When he got his first camera, he started to record his own clock videos and would start posting them online...with assistance from his parents, of course.
The name "Timeless Moments" had been a thought in his mind since those days, but 2015 would be when the name finally came to light on his YouTube channel. Being a child of the Internet, Chevy was enamored by the concept of social media and being able to share his passion online with others across the world. It was exciting to him to know that he wasn't alone, and that there were people out there who shared the same fascination with clocks as he did. Today, his videos on TikTok and Instagram reach millions monthly.
Over the years, Chevy has also worked alongside many prominent figures and businesses in the clock industry, such as the world-famous Champ’s Clock Shop in Douglasville, GA. His work and personal clock collection have been recognized by both Seiko and Rhythm, too. All of this would lead up to him starting his own business in 2023, where he sells and repairs many of the same timepieces he grew up with.
