Seiko's "Dancing Dial" Melodies in Motion clocks are both enchanting and magical. They are some of the most popular and best-selling musical clocks, and for good reason. At the top of each hour, the dials twist and turn to dance along in sync with the soothing melodies to create both a hypnotizing and joyful display.

Prepare to be entranced by the dazzling appearance of the “Castle Windows”. A design inspired by intricate architecture, the clock is decorated with a brick-like pattern, columns, and windows. The white and navy blue dial is decorated with elaborate Roman numerals and glimmering crystals towards the center. At the top of the hour, one of 19 total melodies begins to play as the three dial pieces turn to lift the three decorative windows, revealing three colorful figurines that sway as the dial “dances” along to the tune.

Our son just turned 21, and for over a decade he’s dreamed of owning a Seiko Melodies in Motion clock. Something about these wonderfully whimsical clocks captured his imagination as a little boy, and he never outgrew that joy. This year, we finally made it happen!

I contacted Chevy because I was worried it wouldn’t arrive before our family left town. Although he couldn’t change the shipping arrangements, he was so incredibly kind and apologetic that he offered to send us a separate surprise gift.
