Seiko QXM574BRH "2017 Special Collector's Edition" Melodies in Motion Dancing Dial Musical Wall Clock with '70s Pop Music

Seiko’s QXM574BRH was the yearly Special Collector’s Edition Melodies in Motion clock for the 2017 holiday season. This year’s edition featured the same “dancing dial” movement as other post-2012 “new age” models but with a different, distinct dial. With a shape inspired by Rhythm’s popular “Encore” series of clocks, the numerals are enclosed in their own individual ovals. As the hour approaches or the demonstration is activated, the 6-piece dial and 3 round figurines come to life as they dance along to the tune of one of 24 total melodies. 6 of these 24 melodies are popular songs from the 1970s, which are hard to find on musical clocks nowadays due to strict copyright laws. Below the dial is a decorative rotating pendulum adorned with Swarovski crystals that rotates continuously.
