Citizen (Rhythm) "Kingdom HS" Wooden Chiming & Musical Decorative Pendulum Mantel Clock from Japan - 4RH743-006

Citizen’s “Kingdom HS” is arguably one of the most elegant chiming mantel clocks that the brand has ever made. Produced in the late 1990s by Rhythm exclusively for the Japanese market, this stunning timepiece is encased in a beautiful dark wooden frame with gold pillars. Beneath the prominent dial is a gorgeous continuously-rotating pendulum adorned with eight polished Swarovski crystals. Even then, its grand appearance is not the focal point of this wooden mantel clock…it’s the chimes. It features six different European chimes played in Rhythm’s magnificent FM sound that you must hear to truly believe. They have a similar tone to Rhythm’s “Mènèt” series or bell ringer clocks. After each chime, the clock strikes the hour with a grandeur “bong”. They can be set to play all the time, only during the day, or not at all.
