Seiko AM629M “Zig Zag Playground” Musical Decorative Pendulum Wall Clock from Japan

The Zig Zag series is home to some of Seiko's most fun-filled decorative clocks. The AM629M in particular was made exclusively for the Japanese market, although it bears similarities to the QXM104BRH (also known as the "Playful Puppets" Melodies in Motion clock) available overseas, but the AM629M has a different set of melodies and brighter colors. Enclosed behind curved glass, the clock's dial is surrounded by a lively, continuously-swinging decorative pendulum, and it is home to many different whimsical characters. It plays six tunes from a variety of different movies, such as themes from "The NeverEnding Story" and "Beauty And The Beast".

Notes: This is such a light-hearted piece...it definitely has that "vintage" feel. Most modern-day musical clocks don't have the fantasy-like theme with figurines and funny characters that this clock has. Overall, this clock is in pretty good condition for its age with minor wear, as shown in the photos. It is missing the battery cover, but this does not affect operation.
