This clock came from Rhythm USA's personal collection. When Rhythm USA dissolved at the beginning of 2025, we were lucky to have come into possession of the majority of the clocks in their Atlanta office and workshop. This includes everything from refurbished models, display pieces, samples, and even some off-the-wall prototypes. Over the course of the next few years, we will be sorting through our vast collection of Rhythm USA's personal timepieces and offering them to you at a great price. To honor Rhythm's legacy and to mark these timepieces as true collectibles, the back side of each clock will be tagged with a commemorative sticker. Rhythm’s “Timecracker” series is home to some of the most popular and most iconic musical clocks ever made. It’s a timeless design that has been around for almost three decades. The “Timecracker Golden Oak” Magic Motion clock was released in 2003 as a follow-up to the widely-popular original “DWS Timecracker” clock. It features a gleaming bright oak frame with a new dial, different from the short-lived “DWS Timecracker Oak” released just a year before. At the top of the hour or when the demonstration button is pressed, the clock dial comes to life and literally “cracks” into two pieces. The pieces rotate around the clock to reveal various hidden figurines beneath, until they meet again. Like the original Timecracker models, the “Timecracker Golden Oak” plays 6 popular melodies including “Unchained Melody” and “My Heart Will Go On” in Rhythm’s pleasant Dynamic Wave Sound (DWS). The Swarovski crystal pendulum rotates continuously.

Notes: The “Timecracker” series is legendary to many clock enthusiasts around the world, and this one was always one of my favorites due to its decorative dial with reflective gold accents. This piece is in absolutely flawless condition except for a few marks on the backside near the hanging hole. Be sure to look at all photos and watch the video for a demonstration!
