Seiko QXM491BRH "2013 Special Collector's Edition" Melodies in Motion Dancing Dial Musical Wall Clock with '70s Pop Music

Seiko’s 2013 Collector's Edition Melodies in Motion clock brought upon a new era for the brand. This was the first of the “new-age” Collector’s Edition Melodies in Motion clocks, which featured a "dancing” dial with three rotating dial sections. Nowadays, this style has become very popular, and there have been quite a few variations…but this model was the first the world had ever seen. Every hour or when the demonstration button is pressed, the 3-piece dial comes to life and rotates along to the sound of one of 18 total melodies. 6 of these melodies are popular songs from the 1970s, which are hard to find on musical clocks nowadays due to strict copyright laws. A decorative rotating pendulum adorned with Swarovski crystals rotates below the dial continuously.

Notes: This might just be my personal favorite of Seiko's modern-day Special Collector's Edition clocks. It just has such a classy design, from the castle motifs to the small figurines above the dial. This specific clock is in good used condition, but the frame has definitely seen better days. There various small scratches and marks all around it, as shown in the photos. Nothing entirely noticeable once the clock is hung on the wall, but definitely worth noting. The clock works like a charm otherwise; watch the video for a demonstration!
