Seiko QXM123BRH "Broadway Showtunes Dropping Dial" Melodies in Motion Musical Moving Wall Clock with Popular Melodies

Bring the theater to your home with Seiko’s amazing QXM123BRH clock, nicknamed “Broadway Showtunes Dropping Dial.” Released in 2004, this clock was truly the star of Seiko’s early Melodies in Motion series lineup. The aesthetically-pleasing design and unusual movement of this clock make it one of the most unique Seiko clocks ever produced, and it is highly sought after by both clock collectors and theater enthusiasts alike. At the top of the hour or when the demonstration button is pressed, the clock dial drops completely down to cover the pendulum, revealing an extraordinarily captivating display of motion. The door in the center opens up, revealing a dancing flute player, while the multicolored LED lights hidden beneath the stained glass windows put on a stunning light show. It plays 6 melodies from various Broadway shows, such as “Phantom Of The Opera” and “West Side Story.” These songs are hard to find on musical clocks, as there haven't been any clocks with showtunes released since 2009 due to copyright issues. The decorative Swarovski crystal pendulum swings continuously.

Notes: This clock is truly a masterpiece…and this one is in amazing condition for its age with only a few very small marks around the case. It even has the small Swarovski crystal sticker from when it was new (along with its original box). It’s worth noting that you can hear the motor running faintly during the introduction and ending, but it’s very normal for this specific model as it requires a stronger motor to move the dial up and down. I have cleaned the battery compartment as there was a small bit of leakage, but I have ensured that all wires have strong connections. Otherwise, the clock works and performs great! It will be shipped double boxed inside of its original packaging.
