The "Aimee" bracket clock is quite literally one of Hermle's crowned timepieces. In 2023, this exact model was chosen to be gifted by the German government to King Charles III of Great Britain on his first visit to Germany after his coronation (as shown in the final photo). "Aimee" was the perfect clock for the King, as its design draws heavy influence from antique British timepieces of yesteryear. Its arched and shouldered wooden case is finished in walnut and adorned with brass feet. The traditional golden dial includes a silver chapter ring, cast brass corner applications, and an etched moon phase dial that displays the moon's positioning and phases of the lunar cycle. Side glasses on either side of the case expose its brilliant 8-day mechanical movement that plays Westminster chime quarterly on bells and strikes the hour at the top of each. "Aimee" also features an automatic night shut-off (ANSO) that silences the chimes between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
